We visited Cape Town in 2019 after the birth of our first daughter and fell in love with this charming city, with its fresh ocean air, towering mountains and white sand beaches.

One year later, still mesmerized by our experience, we packed up our lives in the Netherlands and made a life of adventure our future – becoming Cape Town residents and boutique hotel owners in one move.

Nestled between mountain and sea, we embraced our new Tamboerskloof address perched just above the city. We found joy in breathing new life into old spaces, infusing them with a luxurious aesthetic, while preserving the charming essence of our Victorian-era hotel.

Today we continue to embrace this adventure and revel in the joy of sharing this magical city
with our guests.
